This fun park operated for 40 years in Mattawan. That is an amazing achievement so it must have been pretty cool. The folks running it decided to close the park prior to the 2015 season to focus on their other business, Formula K Lawn and Snow Equipment. The facility featured a nice miniature golf course, a large go-kart track, and paintball course.

After much thought and deliberation we have decided to no longer open the Fun Park. We would like to thank everyone for their support for the past 40 years.
Formula K Family Fun Park started in 1975 as the only Amusement Park in the Kalamazoo area. After a short period we began manufacturing our own go-karts and grand prix cars due to the lack of good equipment to keep the park running. Soon after that, the manufacturing became our main focus and we became the largest manufacturer of concession go-karts in the world.
In 2005 we decided to separate our businesses up between two partners and one partner now runs the Go-Kart manufacturing in Paw Paw and we continued to run the Fun Park here in Mattawan. Shortly thereafter we also started an outdoor power equipment sales and service business. That business, Formula K Lawn and Snow Equipment, has now become our main focus and we have decided to end a 40 year run as the premier Go-Kart based amusement park in the area and we will continue to expand Formula K Lawn and Snow Equipment. We look forward to serving all your needs for Lawn and Snow Equipment Sales, Service, and Parts in the future.
