Update 12/19/2024: I have found the remnants of a dirt oval on the late 1960's and early 70's aerial photo. It sat behind where the Masonic Lodge sits now on State St. The only problem is it doesn't appear on the map in 1954 but maybe that operating date is wrong. For now, I will go with this address. It could be an old horse track but it is a bit uneven for that.

Update Feb 25 2024: I have looked through the aerial photos of Millington and the surrounding area and I see nothing that looks like a race track going back into the 1950's. There are some track shapes that appear on the map much later but I believe those were for other purposes. Dirt tracks used for auto racing have a distinct footprint and I am not seeing anything like that. There are also no newspaper ads under Millington Speedway or Millington Raceway. I am starting to doubt this place existed at all. Even the most obscure tracks had newspaper ads.
