This place looks really good. I have been through Bay City many times but I don't remember seeing this place. I will go out of my way to stop in the next time I am up that way. It is a couple of blocks from Saginaw Bay. The reviews are great.
As for the history, I did find an ad from 1980 when the place was for sale. The ad ran 5 times so I figure the place changed hands back then. It's possible it was operating under a different name prior to 1980.
