The building was demolished in the summer of 2025.
This place does appear on the 1955 aerial photo so it goes back to then or before. I believe the original name was Tastee Freez Big Tee Burger. It changed hands in 1984 when Mr. and Mrs. Zwalua bought the place and it was still Tastee Freez at the time. An article about a robbery from 1991 indicated it was a Subway by then. It was robbed again in 1993 and was still a Subway. I think the last business to occupy the spot was Jonesy's Pizza but that is also closed. As of 2023, the building sits empty which is a shame as it has a nice view of Maple Lake.
