Tip-Top was a small chain operating mainly in the 50's and 60's from what I can tell. The name "Tip-Top" is also attached to other locations not related to the drive-in. For example, there is a Tip-Top restaurant in Adrian that has been around since 1937. I don't believe it is related but I could be wrong. There was a Tip-Top in Albion that I believe was the same as the one I am documenting here in Lansing. This location is now occupied by a car lot, but if I am analyzing the historical photos right, part of the office for the lot is the old Tip-Top building.
