This dining room and cocktail lounge goes back to the 60's at least I would say. The building is probably from the 1950's. The last mention of this address in the newspaper archives was for Bricks Nite Spot in 1985. That area of Chalmers has seen better days so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the last time anything was operating out of this building.
It still stands as of 2023. Even part of the old brick 1/2 wall around the parking lot is still there, albeit crumbling. A church seems to be operating out of the adjacent space although I don't believe it was part of the old nightclub. It always fascinates me how a building that was once bustling with people now sits forgotten. It would be so fun to go back in time and see what it was like when it was open.
