The Copper Pickle was a favorite of my kids and me during the early days of traveling to build this web site. We'd go on road trips in the early 2000's and we would always try to route ourselves back through Howell to go to the Pickle. We got to know the Fox family who ran it and they were very kind. The sandwiches were amazing and the dill pickle soup was awesome. Sadly, business fell off and the restaurant closed in 2011. It did very well for many years prior to that. The Fox's also offered catering services with full Polish meals.
The building now contains Black Iron Coffee Roasters which has great reviews. Other than behind the counter, the interior is much the same as it was when the Pickle was there.
