I took another look at the current and past maps and I have located the motel. There were 2 structures for this place at one point and one of them still remains albeit closed. It appears one of the structures was on one side of Pinewood Rd and the other across the street. The gas station mentioned in the old ad seems to be on the 1961 aerial view also. The gas station I believe was on a lot on the corner which currently has what was Gidget's Cafe on it, which is now closed. There is a motel designation on the sign for that.
The 14 unit Restwel Motel was on Old M-76 in St. Helen 1/4 mile from Lake St. Helen. The entire facility included the motel, a restaurant, a gas station, and a home. It could have been had for 50 grand back in 1961. It's hard to tell what is left of the place as of 2023. The street views are incomplete and there is no business of that name operating today. There is a Trail's End motel in town near a gas station so that could be it although that is on Airport Rd and M-76.
