Oct. 19, 1984 obituary for the owner:
Martin Podmajerski Sr. WHITE PIGEON Services for Martin Podmajerski 72, of 10426 U.S. 12 who died at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday at Sturgis Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday Farrand Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mottville Cemetery. Friends may call from to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Martin Podmajerski Memorial Fund. Mr.
Podmajerski was born Dec. 21, 1911, in Chicago. He lived in this area for 21 years, having come from Hobart, Ind. Surviving are a daughter, Marshann Podmajerski of Union; a son, Martin Jr. of Three Rivers; and a grandson.
He had been employed for U.S. Steel in Gary and, at the time of his death, owned Cartland Motor Court.

This entry is for 2 different tourist cabin joints on US-12 near White Pigeon. One set of cabins was at 10426 US-12 and the other was just east of Athletic St on US-12 also. I am not sure what names they operated under yet. When I get it, I will update this listing.
