The Plaza Theater was located at 211 N. Washington. It was also known as the Palms and the Downtown Arts. The theater was located in the Tussing Building.

June 1959 - Installation of a new dual-function concession unit is reported in the Palms Theatre at Lansing, operated by Robert Hamilton. A new soft custard-type ice cream dispensing unit has been installed between the box office and the sidewall in front of the entrance. In this position, the ticket seller can also operate the ice cream unit.
