General Information:

Update Feb 12 2024: Albert Hefferan started this 150 seat theater in 1937. He later started the Century Theater in Coopersville in 1939. After that, he acquired the Burton Theater in Grand Rapids. Unfortunately the article didn't indicate the street address of the Lynx.

I was reading in a current newspaper article about another indoor theater that was located in Coopersville, MI. The Lynx Theater was in operation from 1936 to 1939 in Downtown Coopersville. It was a 200 seat theater just about a block away from the Century Theater. The Lynx was also located on Main St, however on the other side of the road.
