This place goes back to the 1940's at least and I assume was on or near St. Mary's Lake in the Pentwater area. It was once run by Merlin Julius Young in 1943. From what I can see the Battle Creek Bowhunters bought the place in 1957. It seemed to continue as a dance hall sometime after that according the newspaper ads. There was some crime issue that occurred in 1958. By 1959 the place was for sale for $9000 with only $500 down. From what I can tell that was the end of the place being used as a dance hall.
