The 17-lane Chandler Recreation goes back to the 1940's. It appears the building is still standing on Harper. For a time it was the home of a cartage company run by Jim and Jerry Genso in the 1990's but that seems gone. The last mention in the newspaper regarding the bowling alley I found was from 1977 so it seemed to have been closed for quite some time.
