Pro-Bowl West was founded by Johnnie Johns in 1964. It was named after Hall of Fame Bowler Joe Joseph. There was also a Pro-Bowl East which was opened in 1977. Pro-Bowl West closed but the building still stands and is occupied by a flower outlet.
Pro-Bowl East closed in August 2001 and was located at 2757 E Grand River in East Lansing. The newspapers indicate it was where the Hobby Lobby sits today but honestly I am not seeing it on the historical photos. It was said to be next to Rollerworld, and across from Coral Gables. Coral Gables still operates, Rollerworld does not.
